Everyone knows I'm a huge sucker for romantic dramas on screen. I've missed that the most in the past decade - with writing become more diverse, good romantic dramas are a lot harder to come by. So when they come, I'm genuinely looking forward to it. Add to that, Devanshu Singh as the director and I'm definitely in. 

14 Phere is exactly what the title suggests. 7 times 2 = 14 Phere because they have to get married twice, that being the lead cast pair, Vikrant Massey and Kriti Kharbanda. To make it happen twice, Gauahar Khan and Jameel Khan don the looks of their parents. 

Honestly, the best part of this movie is Gauahar Khan and Jameel Khan. While I love the chemistry between Vikrant Massey and Kriti Kharbanda, they live up to my expectations. But Gauahar, she's that sweet surprise in the film who makes me laugh throughout. In an unexpected role(s), she is hilarious and endearing all at once. 

If there is one thing I wish the film did was to do a better job with pacing in the second half of the film. But the moments between all the characters are well done, and what is interesting is the way in which all of them are loveable despite all their faults. That credit goes to the writing.

This one is a good one.
