EK VILLAIN Synopsis (Story)

Mohit Suri is a name that is synonymous with different films and great music. Sidharth Malhotra has amassed a fan following that is out of the world. Shraddha Kapoor is riding high on her success after the epic Aashiqui 2. The expectations were that the film would generate a good response based on how the trailers looked. The film released a soundtrack that was the perfect soundtrack for a film like this. But with the lead cast being relative newcomers and Ritesh Deshmukh going out of his comfort area of comedy, there was obviously some concern of how receptive the audience would be.

The film is about Guru, played by Sidharth Malhotra, who is quiet and intense…and a guy who stops at nothing when working for a gangster, Ceasar, played by Remo Fernandes. Guru is haunted by a past which will not leave his side. But when he meets the bubbly and optimistic Aisha, played by Shraddha Kapoor, things start looking up for him. They get married. But then, Aisha is attacked. Guru sets out to find the culprit. And in this journey, learns of the animal always inside of him.
