Luka Chuppi Synopsis (Story)

Mathura’s Guddu (Kartik Aryan) is a regular guy trying to make a living away from his family. He is a news channel reporter. His cub is the lissom and lithe, Rashmi (Kriti Sanon) Very quickly, they are in love and he believes the next step forward should not be delayed, he assumes the only thing expected of him is to propose marriage. Instead, after much deliberation, on Guddu’s part and major conviction on Rashmi’s part – they enter a live-in relationship. What should have been the beginning of love, romance turns out to become the beginning of chaos and madness, soon involving their family and even extended families. Given Rashmi herself comes from an Orthodox family, through her, the director has tried to put myriad social angles but kept the tone light.
