ZEE5 Global's Upcoming Line-up Includes Three New Exciting Projects!

An Arjun Rampal starrer murder mystery - ‘Nail Polish’, a suspense thriller web series starring Paoli Dam and Anup Soni – ‘Raat Baaki Hai’ and a feature film based on the Akshardham Temple Attacks


Mumbai, November 12th, 2020: ZEE5 Global, the largest OTT platform for South Asian content has announced three of its upcoming projects that are set to premiere soon on the platform.


The first on the stands is a promising thriller series ‘Raat Baaki Hai’ starring Paoli Dam, Rahul Dev and Anup Soni. Based on the famous Atul Satya play ‘Ballugunje-1990’ set in Rajasthan, the web-series is described as a tale of “love and revenge”. The story revolves around two estranged lovers meeting after a long period of time under uncanny circumstances. The plot spans over one night that leads into an unexpected turn of events. The series is set to premiere on 20th November.

Among the other nail-biting releases is a much-anticipated courtroom drama ‘Nail Polish’ starring Arjun Rampal, Manav Kaul, and others. As intriguing as the title, this masterpiece mystery is directed by ‘Bugs’ Bhargava Krishna, the actor who gained fame for his eminent roles in movies like 3 Idiots, Dum Maaro Dum and Delhi Belly. ‘Nail Polish’ follows a murder trial that weaves together the story line of past events as the whole series unfolds in court. Rampal leads the film essaying the role of a high-profile defence lawyer. The film is expected to be the first release of 2021 on ZEE5.

Another intriguing title anticipated in 2021 is a ZEE5 Original film based on the attacks of Akshardham temple in Gujarat, ‘State of Siege: Akshardham’. The focus of this film will be to unfold the events of the attack and showcase the prowess of Indian NSG soldiers. Carrying forward the legacy of ZEE5 Original State of Siege based on the 26/11 attacks of Mumbai, that was released earlier this year.
