Find out how Sonakshi Sinha prepared for her OTT debut!

Like many other industries, the Hindi film industry was also affected when India went into lockdown last year because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Sonakshi Sinha was shooting for her digital debut at that time with Reema Kagti in Rajasthan. When things started to open up and the shooting resumed, she was on her feet, rushing to go over details of her character again.

“I remember we had not shot for a fairly long time. I wanted to pick up things from where we had left off before the lockdown. It almost felt like we had been away from the scene for a year, when it had only been a few months. I actually rang up Reema Kagti and asked her to take me through everything we had shot until then. I needed to refresh my memory and more importantly, I wanted to be sure about the momentum of my character, who she is and where she is currently in her journey. Watching all the scenes we had shot up to that point helped me tackle the rest of my scenes with great ease. When I went back to the sets, I could literally pick up from where we had left off. The team really helped me get back on track. Working in a long-format story comes with its own set of challenges; I didn’t think this could be one of them," she revealed.

Sonakshi Sinha will be seen next in Bhuj: The Pride of India alongside Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Sharad Kelkar and Nora Fatehi.
