Vicky Kaushal opens up about finally watching Sanju!

After the release of Ranbir Kapoor's Sanju, there has been one name that was continuously being talked about by all. Just as much as Ranbir’s performance was loved in the film, Vicky Kaushal's performance also impressed everyone equally. Vicky played the role of Kamlesh in the film who is Dutt's best friend and stands by him throughout all the phases in his life. With the film’s phenomenal success, the entire star cast had a success bash and because Vicky was missing, Ranbir had a video call with him to celebrate the film's success. Despite being a part of the film, Vicky couldn’t watch the entire film since he was busy shooting for a film on surgical strikes in Serbia. The actor had earlier revealed, “I haven’t seen the film yet. I am sitting in Serbia and here Bollywood films don’t release. So, I haven’t seen the film myself.”

Vicky had also spoken about the great response that he has received for Sanju. The actor revealed, “Jo 
sabse reaction mil rahe hai, jo tweets main padh raha hoon…feels extremely nice. You feel like you have been able to translate the character to reach the audience. The biggest compliment came to me from Sanju Sir himself. After he watched the film, he called me up to say he had loved the film; he had loved the portrayal of the friendship between Sanju and Kamli. That meant a lot because he felt like he saw the friendship that he has lived in his life. That was my biggest validation.”
