When you were trying to get into acting, it wasn't working. When you stopped trying, it clicked. That's what you said in an interview. What do you think made it "click"?
While we've seen the likes of Shah Rukh Khan and other actors with no supports in the industry make it big, we also see a fair share of star kids who make it big even before their first film. What keeps you motivated when you see this?
Well it's my " up on your toes" attitude you have to have over here. Discipline and regime are also important. I don't fight in competitions as I have my own journey and that keeps me motivated.
You had Yaariyan and we've typically seen you in more contemporary romantic roles. Will we see something different with Raanchi Diaries?
Abosolutely - yes but with the touch of my charm (Wink)

Was there any pressure dealing with the fact that this is an Actor Prepares production?
Absolutely - yes once again. I had really prepared as an actor in a different manner. A whole new dimension of the art form is open for me. Thanks to Kher sahab. He is a living legend.
In a film with so many characters. what do you do to make yourself memorable?
Be in sync with the script and the feel of the film.
What was the experience like working with Anupam Kher?
The best I have ever had so far. I'm totally fortunate to have worked with and learn as much as I could from a living legend.
